Our quality assurance team (whose members each have an average of 25 years of experience) reviews all documents containing blanks and randomly double-checks a healthy percentage of documents without blanks to ensure that our quality and accuracy far exceed industry standards.
Also, lest anything slip between the cracks, we can utilize your schedules to ensure that all patient information in the reports (such as name spellings, dates of birth, account numbers, etc.) is correct. We can also reconcile the dictation we received against what patients were seen to ensure that nothing is missing or fax copies of your reports directly to referring physicians.
And just because we’re sticklers for the details of your transcription doesn’t mean we don’t understand the need for a quick turnaround. Typical turnaround time averages 24 to 48 hours, and this can be sped up to meet individual client needs (with stat requests accommodated as well).
Moreover, it goes without saying that HIPAA compliance will be maintained throughout. We take the issue of privacy and security concerning patient medical records very seriously. We’ll gladly sign and adhere to any special confidentiality agreement you may have.
Finally, know that our work for you doesn’t have to end with transcription. We can take any custom request and integrate it into our services for you. This includes: extracting information from previous reports so the doctor doesn’t have to re-dictate, researching proper nouns/people’s names/place names online or via telephone, re-ordering what the doctor dictates (changing the section headings, etc.) so that he can dictate a quick “rough draft” and we’ll turn it into a final copy by putting everything where it belongs. You can therefore think of us as an extension of your in-house staff.

Most medical transcription is done through an ongoing relationship and at higher volumes than other types of transcription and may include other value-added services at your request. For these reasons, we prefer to offer a free trial to evaluate the workflow and to give you a chance to see our service in action. At the end of the trial, we’ll prepare a mock invoice for the best billing method based on the work performed during the trial along with estimates of ongoing volume.
